ISLAND Youth Theatre

Term Time Saturdays at ISLAND Arts Centre

 

Island Minis is an exciting drama and dance class aimed at little ones aged 4 - 5 years. It’s a fun way to bring your child into a setting of working with other children their age. They’ll also get to make new friends while having lots of fun. Classes take place from 10am to 10.45am.

Block 1: Saturdays 21 September - 26 October and Block 2: Saturdays 9 November - 14 December (6 weeks per block) Cost: £36 per block

Do your kids have a passion for drama, dance and singing, then why not sign them up for Island Juniors programme this year? This course is for young people aged 6 - 9 years and classes take place from 11am to 12pm.

Does your young person have a passion for drama, dance and singing, then why not sign them up for Island Seniors Youth Theatre programme? This course will offer all young people aged 10 - 18 years the chance to perform in a production in June 2025 in our very own Studio Theatre, with the best tutors in the business. They will also have a chance to take part in masterclasses in voice work, technical skills and stage craft with guest industry professionals. Classes take place from 12 to 2pm.

Juniors and Seniors will also take part in Twilight Night on Thursday 24 October in Wallace Park, Lisburn.

Drama, dance and music for children aged 4-18 years.  ISLAND Youth Theatre's introductory sessions for younger children enhance confidence, self-expression, communication and presentation skills as well as encouraging collaboration, team work and promoting leadership.  Express yourself through performing arts with this ultimate youth theatre group under the professional guidance of tutors. ISLAND Youth Theatre take part in all ISLAND Arts Centre major events.
